Nish McCree Tetteh-Kujorjie (she/her) is the Founder of The COWRIE culture. She is a passionate art collector, art patron, and advocate for the expansion and sustainability of the Contemporary Art ecosystem in Ghana and across Africa.
Nish strongly believes that an investment in the Contemporary Art ecosystem in African countries will encourage entrepreneurship among young people and contribute to social development and economic growth.
In the art community in Ghana, Nish is a trusted thought leader and mentor to emerging artists. She is an advisory board member with dot.ateliers, Amoako Boafo's art foundation. Her advocacy for contemporary art made in Africa and by the African Diaspora has been highlighted in Artnet, Apollo Magazine and by LARRY’s List among others. Nish is a member of the African Diaspora, born in Alabama. She lives in Accra, Ghana with her husband.
